The DVT 510MR camera is a Legend 510 series SmartImage camera. The DVT 510MR camera uses a fully functioning CMOS image sensor. The camera also features the inspection power of the whole Legend series but without the reader capabilities. The DVT 510MR camera is compatible with the Windows-based Framework software. The camera also supports integrated ring lights and an Ethernet interface for network communication. The resolution of the camera is 640 x 480 pixels. The camera runs on 24 Volts DC power. A total of 16 MB of memory is provided on the camera for storage. The DVT 510MR camera belongs to the 500 family of products in the Legend series. The Legend series also includes an Intelligent Scanner and the SpectroCam.

 

Other SmartImage sensors which are part of the 500 family of products are the Legend 520, Legend 530, Legend 540, Legend 542C, Legend 544, and Legend 544C sensor cameras. All sensors which are part of the 500 family include the FrameWork software which can be used to set up inspections on 1D and 2D code readers and to detect defects and device positioning. The intelligent scanner uses a precise CCD to read 1D and 2D codes and characters. The SpectroCam sensor uses a grayscale CCD and an external spectrograph. The dimensions of the Legend series sensors are 112 x 60 x 30 millimeters. Four M4 threaded holes are provided on the back of the sensors for mounting. The approximate weight of the sensors is 170 grams. If the LED array on the camera is used, a power supply which provides an additional 30 Watts of power will be required. The operating temperature range is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius.
